West Nile Province shot-stopper Norman Angufindru has confirmed his departure from The Jogoos after three seasons at Villa Park, bringing to a close a spell that began as a lifeline at a point in his career.
Announcing the move in an emotional farewell message, the West Nile Province shot stopper reflected on how far the move had taken him.
"From that call when I almost was quitting football to winning my first topflight title here, today, I turn to a new chapter away from a place I have called home for the past three seasons," he wrote.
Angufindru's time at Villa Park was defined by an immediate impact helping the club to the 2023/24 StarTimes Uganda Premier League title in his very first season.

He previously described as his career highlight calling it every player's dream and a moment that will always stay in his memory.
Before arriving at Villa, Angufindru built his career through West Nile's regional football pyramid with Mvara Boys FC and Ovujo United before university football at IUIU.
He then moved into senior football with Calvary FC for two years in the FUFA Big League followed by a season at Onduparaka FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League; gaining platform before SC Villa secured his signature in 2023.
