Uganda Police FC have moved to strengthen their goalkeeping department with the signing of Hadji Shukuru Al Hajji from Calvary Midigo FC on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper makes the switch after an impressive spell at Calvary, where he established himself as a dependable last line of defence and kept nine clean sheets.
Shukuru has wasted little time making his mark at Police FC. He has already started four matches, keeping three clean sheets as the Cops continue their 2026/27 Startimes Uganda Premier League campaign from fifth place in the standings.
His journey to the Police FC goal began at Arua Hill SC, where he gained valuable experience before making the move to Calvary.
Among his memorable performances was a commanding display against Vipers SC, where Shukuru stood tall between the posts and kept the Venoms from finding the net before he was substituted; later on, Vipers scored.

Now, the gloves have changed hands and the challenge has grown.
At Kiira Road Police Arena, Shukuru joins a Police FC side looking to build a stronger squad, with his arrival adding quality and competition in the goalkeeping department.
For the young shot-stopper, the move represents another important step in a journey built on patience, consistency and clean sheets.
From Arua Hill to Calvary, and now Police FC , Shukuru's journey continues to gather pace.
