Norman Angufidru is set to begin a new chapter in his career after reaching the end of his contract with SC Villa. The 32-year-old goalkeeper is expected to complete a move to newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kigezi Home Boys ahead of the 2026/27 StarTimes Uganda Premier League campaign.
Angufidru joined SC Villa at the start of the 2023/24 season from Onduparaka Fc and enjoyed immediate success, playing a key role as the Jogoos clinched the Uganda Premier League title in his debut campaign with the club.
The West Nile Province-born custodian leaves Villa after three seasons, bringing valuable top-flight experience to Kigezi Home Boys as they prepare for their maiden season in Uganda's top division.
His expected arrival is seen as a significant boost for the newcomers, who are strengthening their squad with experienced players capable of helping them compete in the demanding Uganda Premier League.
