Pakwach-born defender Vipers SC star Rogers Torach has earned a nomination for the Uganda Premier League Goal of the Season award following his sensational strike against Lugazi FC on March 4, 2026.
Torach opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a brilliant effort that set the tone for Vipers SC’s dominant 3-0 first-half display. Goals from Usama Arafat and Chukwuma Odili completed the scoring before halftime as the Venoms cruised past Lugazi FC.

The talented defender, who hails from Panyango in Pakwach District, continues to rise in Ugandan football after earlier receiving a nomination in the 2026 East Africa Youth Awards. Torach also joined Elite Management on February 19, 2026, marking another major step in his growing football career.
Having made over 30 appearances for Vipers SC, Torach has cemented himself as a regular starter in the club’s defence with his consistent performances, composure, and growing influence on the team.
