(Olaboro Lawrence with colored hair celebrating with team mates)
When Calvary FC needed belief, Olaboro Lawrence delivered and he keeps delivering. His latest goal secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Police FC in Midigo, Yumbe, further fueling the club’s fight for survival with just three matchdays left in the Startimes Uganda Premier League 2025/26 season.
In a tense encounter, it was once again Olaboro who made the difference. Calm and clinical, he finished off a well-worked assist from Simon Peter Odeke to hand Calvary FC all three points and ignite celebrations at home.
But this moment is part of a much bigger story. Olaboro Lawrence has been central to Calvary FC’s survival push throughout the season. He found the net earlier in the campaign against KCCA FC in the first round and also scored against Entebbe UPPC.
In the second round, his influence has only grown stronger. He scored twice in the match that delivered Calvary FC’s first win of the season against Buhimba United Saints Football Club, followed it up with the winning goal against KCCA FC, and has now added another decisive strike against Police FC , all his goals have directly translated into crucial victories.

Time and again, Olaboro has stepped up in defining moments, turning pressure into points and keeping Calvary FC within reach of safety with six goals now. His leadership in attack, movement, and composure have made him the heartbeat of the team’s late surge.
With only three matches left to play, Calvary FC’s survival hopes are still alive and much of that belief is being carried by one man’s form.
As the season edges toward its conclusion, one thing is certain that Olaboro Lawrence isn’t just scoring goals ,he’s keeping Calvary FC in the fight.
