On the 28th March 2026, Sadat Anaku scored for Hartford Athletic in their 2-2 draw home opener against Indy Eleven.
Anaku gave Hartford the lead in the 33rd minute, finishing well after a good pass from Diz Pe which gave the team a half time lead.
Indy Eleven came from behind three minutes into the second half and also added on their lead , but Hartford kept pushing. In the 89th minute, a corner kick led to an own goal by Indy Eleven, making it 2-2.
The match ended in a draw, but Anaku’s performance and first goal of the season stood out once again. He remains an important player for Hartford and a true inspiration to young footballers in West Nile.
