Thursday 16th April Under the Hamz Stadium floodlights ,It ended all square between URA FC and BUL FC in a tightly contested encounter, but the night ultimately belonged to Bright Vuni, whose outstanding display earned him the Man of the Match award.

The visitors struck first in the 34th minute through Richard Okello, who calmly finished after being set up by Kalyowa Reagan. The goal gave BUL FC momentum heading into the break, as URA struggled to impose themselves despite flashes of attacking intent.

Tensions rose just before halftime, with Innocent Rwothommiyo picking up a caution in stoppage time, highlighting the physical nature of the contest.

URA FC came out with renewed purpose in the second half and were quickly rewarded. Just two minutes after the restart, Bruno Bunyanga found the equalizer in the 47th minute, bringing the Tax Collectors back into the game.

The tempo intensified as both sides pushed for a winner, but discipline became a factor. Godfrey Ssekibengo was booked for URA in the 50th minute, while BUL’s Karim Ndunga also went into the referee’s book shortly after the restart.

Amid the end-to-end battle, Bright Vuni stood head and shoulders above the rest. His energy, creativity, and composure on the ball constantly troubled BUL’s defensive line. Whether driving forward, linking play, or tracking back, Vuni was at the heart of everything positive for URA.

While neither side could find a decisive goal, Vuni’s influence never faded, making him the clear standout performer on the pitch.

Despite late efforts from both teams, the match ended 1-1 at full time, with each side forced to settle for a point after a hard-fought battle.

URA FC is currently 11th on the table with 23 points, while BUL FC 8th on the table with 31 points.
