Paidha Black Angels SC return to action looking to extend their winning run when they host Iganga United FC in the 2026/27 FUFA Big League at Bar Okoro Stadium.
The Blacks have made a statement with three successive victories, collecting nine points from their opening fixtures and climbing to the top of the table. More impressively, they have secured two crucial away wins, a feat that has proved difficult to achieve in previous seasons.
Their latest triumph was arguably their sweetest yet — a 2-1 victory over West Nile rivals Onduparaka FC at Greenlight Stadium on Sunday.

Muber Eric was the hero of the afternoon, scoring twice to condemn the Caterpillars to a historic defeat against Paidha Black Angels. His brace made him the first Paidha player to score twice against Onduparaka in the club's history, adding another chapter to one of West Nile's fiercest football rivalries.
With confidence soaring, Muber will be eager to maintain his scoring touch against Iganga United, although Paidha will have to cope without Michael Ssimbwa, who picked up an injury during the derby.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, coach Twinomatsiko confirmed that the rest of the squad is fully fit and ready for the challenge.

Iganga United, meanwhile, arrive in West Nile looking to arrest a worrying run of form. Allan Kabonge's side have lost their last two league matches after opening their campaign with a narrow victory over Pakwach Young Stars SC.
The Busoga-based side arrived in West Nile on Monday and played a friendly against Nebbi Central FC at Luo Grounds on Tuesday, losing 2-1 before travelling to Paidha.
However, Iganga will need more than a change of scenery to overcome a Paidha side that has started the season with purpose and confidence.

Their previous visit to Bar Okoro ended in a 1-0 defeat, with David Obedmoth scoring the decisive goal. That memory will offer the hosts extra belief, but Iganga will be determined to rewrite the script this time around.
