Onduparaka FC return to Greenlight Stadium on Sunday, October 25, searching for their first victory of the 2026/27 FUFA Big League campaign when they host Rwenzori Lions FC.
The Caterpillars have endured a frustrating start, collecting just 1 point from their opening 3matches. Their latest outing ended in a 1-1 draw against neighbours Pakwach Young Stars SC at Luo Grounds, where Abdallah Aziz scored to rescue a point after Onduparaka FC fell behind.

However, the caterpillars picked up a fresh injury concern in the match, with Alex Adriko sustaining a knock. The defender is now subject to a late fitness test to determine whether he will be available for the Caterpillars’ clash against Rwenzori Lions.
With two defeats already on their record, Geoffrey Akena’s men will be under pressure to turn their performances into results and give their campaign fresh momentum.
Onduparaka FC has received a timely boost with striker Alfred Leku cleared to play after his license was approved. Club PRO Toko Karim Baddru confirmed Leku’s availability while also providing an update on Adriko’s injury. Rashid Okocha and Angumeboki Abishai remain sidelined as their licensing processes continue.

Baddru also urged supporters to turn up in large numbers to back the team as they seek a much-needed home victory.
However, Rwenzori Lions will offer a stern test. The visitors sit ninth with five points from four matches, having recorded one win, two draws and one defeat.
The Lions also hold a psychological advantage, having never lost to Onduparaka. Their last meeting, on April 9, 2026, ended in a 1-1 draw at Greenlight Stadium when Rwenzori Lions were known as Bunyaruguru United FC.

Sunday's encounter presents an opportunity for the caterpillars to break that record and finally get their season moving. Leku’s availability could strengthen their attack, while Adriko’s fitness will be closely monitored, but the hosts will need a disciplined performance and greater precision in front of goal to secure all three points.
