ODRAMACHAKU FC STAGES DRAMATIC COMEBACK TO DOWN SOCCER ELITES
DIVINE PALACE – Odramachaku FC proved their resilience ahead of the Regional League season, overturning a 2-1 deficit to defeat a star-studded Soccer Elites select side 3-2 in a pulsating encounter at Divine Palace.
The match took a turn for the intense early on when Alisu Godfrey opened the scoring for the Elites. However, the game was momentarily halted following a frightening collision involving Alisu, which left the forward unconscious for 10 minutes before he was rushed for medical attention and substituted.
The Elites doubled down on their lead when Madanda rose highest to head home a second, putting Odramachaku on the ropes. The tension peaked when Abel, currently unattached, was sent off following a heated infield altercation, leaving his side a man short while Odramachaku trailed 2-1.
Sensing an opportunity, Odramachaku FC shifted gears. Mawa Kanza spearheaded the comeback with a clinical brace, while Al Apangu found the net to seal the 3-2 turnaround.
