NEC FC has today announced the departure of West Nile Province forward Abdulahi Kawawa Rashid after a short stint.
The pacy Kawawa, who moved to Lugogo from Express as one of coach Kaddu Badru's first signings, leaves after featuring for the Die Hards in 12 league games, starting five.

In an official release this morning, the club announced that both parties had mutually agreed to terminate the contract.
"After seven months in the Orange and Green, Abdulahi Rashid Kawawa and NEC FC have mutually agreed to part ways,"
Part of the club's statement read.
"Thank you for your commitment and contribution to the Diehards, Kawawa. We wish you success in the next chapter of your career."

Kawawa follows forward Samuel Kayongo Ssekamatte, who also left the club after the termination of his contract hours ago.
