West Nile Province’s journey in the FUFA Drum has come to a painful end after a narrow 0-1 aggregate defeat to Bunyoro Province in the quarterfinals at Greenlight Stadium Arua.
After holding firm in a goalless first leg, West Nile went into the return fixture with everything to fight for. But despite their resilience and determination, a single decisive moment courtesy of Living Kabon proved enough to separate the two sides.
Across both legs, West Nile showed discipline and structure, but football often comes down to fine margins. That one Bunyoro goal by Kabon Living sealed their fate, ending hopes of a semifinal spot.
For Bunyoro province, this is their first ever semi finals qualification in the FUFA Drum history.
West Nile can take pride in their performance organized at the back, spirited in attack, and committed throughout the tie. However, missed chances and that one lapse proved costly at the highest level of knockout football.

Though the result ends their campaign, West Nile bow out with dignity, having represented their region with passion and grit in the FUFA Drum.
Busoga Province lost to Acholi Province at Saza Grounds Iganga ,Acholi and Bunyoro have booked their spots into the semi finals.
