The football community in West Nile, especially Greater Arua is gripped with pain after the passing of ardent football supporter and entertainment lover, Rogers Afayo. News about Afayo's death broke last evening.
Rogers was part of the Odramacaku FC fans who were involved in an accident at Akaba Bridge while returning from the league fixture against Pakwach Young Stars at Bar Omach, in Pakwach, on the 22nd of last month.
Commonly known as 'Rogers MGT' due to his passion for managing artists and organising music events, Afayo leaves behind a void that many feel shouldn't be there at the moment. He was also a known Onduparaka FC supporter.
Everyone of us at Angara Post is deeply saddened by his demise, and condone with the larger football and entertainment community of West Nile during this trying time. We also pray for the quickest recovery of the other victims of the accident.
