West Nile Province left-back Rashid Okocha has exited South Sudanese giants Jamus SC after both parties agreed to a mutual termination of his contract, bringing an early end to a spell that began just over a year ago.
Okocha had joined Jamus on a two-year deal in mid-2025 from StarTimes Uganda Premier League side NEC F in a move that was billed at the time as a statement signing for the South Sudan Premier League champions who were building a squad capable of competing on the continental stage following their unbeaten domestic title triumph.

With the timing of the split is notable, when Jamus are currently away in Kigali, Rwanda, competing in the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup, the defender's notably not been part of the travelling squad for the regional showpiece.
Having built his name as a combative left-back and occasional left-winger at Onduparaka before earning a Uganda Premier League move to NEC, missing out on continental regional football will sting.

Okocha had been a regular fixture in Jamus' back line since arriving and also featured prominently in the Bright Stars' (South Sudan national team) set-ups during his time at the club.
