West Nile Province defender Bright Joseph Vuni is on the verge of signing for Ntungasaze FC after the expiry of his contract at URA FC. The 27-year-old centre-back is now a free agent and reports suggest he has all but agreed terms with the newly promoted side.
Vuni who made his name as a dependable centre-back for West Nile Province in the FUFA Drum featured for URA FC until the end of last season after his return from the loan spell at Entebbe UPPC FC.
The expected switch represents Ntungasaze FC's first major signing as they prepare for their debut topflight season. Landing an experienced defender of Vuni's calibre sends an early signal of the club's intent to compete rather than simply make up the numbers.
Vuni gives 'The Brewers' much needed steel to a backline facing sterner topflight opposition.
