With the circumstances that led to the loss of the club's earlier X account remaining unclear, neither the club nor its administrators have publicly detailed what happened to pin the disappearance on a hack, a policy violation, or a simple lapse in account management.
With the timing hardly seeming be more significant than later, "The Blacks" spent the 2025/26 campaign fighting for a return to the Uganda Premier League only to see Kataka claim the last promotion on the final day.
The move lines up neatly with a broader push from the Federation of Uganda Football Associations.
Under the newly amended club licensing framework released in May, all topflight clubs must possess and actively operate an official club domain email address, and all UPL clubs must possess and actively operate verified social media accounts on X and TikTok.
With the verification badge now secured, Paidha Black Angels comfortably position themselves as the only second-tier club in West Nile with a verified X presence.
It's a small but telling marker of administrative housekeeping that few clubs at this level have prioritised.
While that requirement is currently pegged to Uganda Premier League status, it is a clear signal of where FUFA's compliance bar is heading and a club chasing promotion would do well to have its digital house in order well before it needs to.
