The goal against UPDF marks another milestone in Bayo's growing influence at NEC FC. Having scored against Ntugasaze and Blacks Power in his previous two league appearances, the forward has now found the net in three consecutive matches.

His recent scoring run began on October 27th , when he came off the bench to score in NEC FC's 5-1 victory over Ntugasaze.

He followed that up with the winning goal in a 1-0 away victory against Blacks Power in Bukedea on October 31st , rising highest to head home Wandera's corner in first-half stoppage time.

Against UPDF, Bayo was once again the difference, taking his tally to three goals in three consecutive league matches , his match-winning performances are giving NEC FC an important attacking boost as the league campaign progresses.

NEC FC made changes during the encounter, with Gideon Odong replacing Enock Tumwesigye in the 41st minute. Daniel Shabene came on for Lubwama at half-time, while James Jarieko, Fahad Bayo and Allan Mugalu were introduced in the second half.

UPDF also made several substitutions as they sought to respond, but NEC maintained their advantage.

The match saw four bookings, with Joel Kigenyi, Derrick Taremwa and Faisal Kiberu cautioned for UPDF, while Ibrahim Musa received a yellow card for NEC.

For Bayo, however, the headline remains his continued contribution in front of goal. Three consecutive league matches with a goal and back-to-back Man of the Match recognition underline a promising run for the NEC FC forward.
