Calvary FC have stunned second-placed KCCA FC with a shock defeat in Midigo this afternoon, further bolstering their push out of the relegation zone.

Dudu Bosco's Horizon Stars have steadily built momentum in recent games, with the 1-0 win against title contenders KCCA proving beyond doubt that the side is serious about climbing out of the drop zone. Calvary have lost just once in their last five fixtures, a defeat to log leaders Vipers, before registering two wins and two draws in the games that followed.

Lawrence Olaboro's 60th-minute strike was all the hosts needed to make the trip back to Kampala a longer and more painful one for the visiting Kasasiro Boys.

Calvary now shift focus to their next fixture, a trip to Entebbe to face UPPC FC.
