StarTimes Uganda Premier League: Resilient Calvary Succumb to Late Mulongo Test in Kitende

League defending Champions and money bags Vipers SC got it late to keep all three points away from being split with Calvary FC under the lights of the St Mary's Stadium Kitende.

Super substitute Gusto Wa Ilungo Mulongo's finish from Yunus Junior Sentamu was all the panting hosts needed to have their breath brought back; with a close chase from Kitara and KCCA for this season's title.

Calvary held Vipers in the reverse fixture to a goalless draw in Midigo, a feat that almost repeated if not for the change that saw Mulongo come on for Glodi Beyuku Munsi ten minutes prior.

The loss still leaves now Dudu Bosco's Calvary at the bottom of the league table still in search of a top-flight win and Vipers SC five points clear at the top of the rankings.
