Midigo Calvary FC are steadily building their promotion charge after edging in-form CATDA FC 1-0 at Midigo Primary School Playground.
The Lufula Boys arrived in Midigo brimming with confidence following a convincing 4-0 victory over Buwambo United FC, but found a determined Calvary side difficult to break down.
In a tightly contested encounter, Rogers Okumu proved the difference, producing a spectacular acrobatic finish in the 79th minute after a defensive error from CATDA to seal all three points for the hosts.

The victory takes Anthony Sekito’s side to three wins in five FUFA Big League matches, alongside one draw and one defeat against Amus College and Young Elephants Academy respectively.
Calvary now sit fifth in the 2026/27 standings, with their dream of returning to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League gathering momentum.
Their next test comes on Thursday, November 5, when they host high-flying SC Volcanoes at Midigo Primary School Playground.
The Horizon Stars will be eager to build on their latest victory and keep their promotion ambitions firmly on track.
