Ntugasaze claimed victory over West Nile giants Paidha black angels with a commanding 3:1 victory at Kavumba recreation centre, Wakiso.
The intense match saw the first half ending in a stalemate, with both teams having a couple of chances and high end to end pressing for most of the minutes which produced an entertaining first half with the visitors holding tight till the final bend of the first 45 minutes.
After the break, the home side came back more energized and dominated the midfield, exchanging passes while launching serial attacks on the away team but they kept their cool and occasionally also tried to attack.
The deadlock finally was broken in 60th minute when jibril struck home, restoring hope for the home team.
As the away team was trying to pick themselves up and squeeze an equalizer, the home team doubled their lead, thanks to home boy Jarieko James who is a product of Paidha Black Angels academy, finding the back of the net in the 66th minute at the expense of his parent club.
Jangeyambe joel came off the bench to score the only goal for the blacks in the 84th minutes, to half the deficit and give more reasons for the blacks to fight harder in search of a late equalizer, a dream that never came through for the blacks.
Agenonga Francis later ended all hopes for the blacks as he netted the 3rd goal in added minutes, to double the host’s lead and make sure all the maximum points stay at home for the brewers.
Up next for the blacks will be a home fixture againts Wakiso Giants as the blacks will be looking forward to revenge, given that Wakiso giants won the first leg 1:0 at hamz stadium, nakivubo.
