Paidha Black Angels have taken a slight hit to their promotion hopes this evening after drawing away to Kaaro Karungi FC at Kyamatte Grounds. The visitors took a first half lead through Kasamba but couldn't hold on until the final whistle as the hosts pulled level in the 85th minute to split the points. Notably, goalkeeper Herbert denied what the club described on their WhatsApp channel as a controversial penalty that would have perhaps handed the opponents all three points.
In Western Uganda still, Nebbi Central couldn't match Kigezi Homeboyz, picking up their eighth loss of the season at the Kigezi Al Madina Stadium. Hamidi's second half strike was simply not enough to overturn a two-goal deficit as the Gorillas had already done the damage.

Onduparaka FC had the roughest outing of the three, conceding three goals at the Bethem City Ground in Gayaza.
After today's results, Paidha Black Angels have dropped out of the promotion zone to fifth place, sitting just a point behind the top four. Nebbi Central are eighth while Onduparaka FC remain in the thick of a relegation battle, sitting second from the bottom.
