Paidha Black Angels registered an away win at Karo Karungi Fc in their opening match of FUFA Big League 2026 - 2027 season.
The newly refurbished blacks took to the pitch with a number of new faces compared to last season’s familiar faces, with new signings and shirt debutants mixing up with the old members of the squad.
The intense match saw a locked first half of the game ending barren, with both teams looking sharp and seeking a way of breaking the deadlock but all attempts were in vain.
The second half took off with much more intensity, but the blacks dominated well and kept their cool, throwing attacks at the hosts.
The deciding moment of the game fell to Michael Ssimbwa, in the last quater of the game, who made no mistake and hurriedly burried the ball past the goal keeper to put the blacks in the front seat and eventually secure the team’s 3 vital away points.
A big statement from the blacks as the new season gets underway.
