Ntugasaze Fc added to the list of promoted clubs yesterday with a sounding 2:1 victory over visiting Bunyaruguru Fc at Kavumba Recreation Ground, Wakiso.
The home side took charge of the game after kickoff, exchanging neat passes and continuously hunting down the visitors in search of the opening goal

Forward Jarieko James scored a brace
The bright moment later came when Jarieko James was set free in front of goal and he made no mistake by slotting the ball past the goalkeeper for the game opener.
The home side continued to control the game but couldn’t produce any further clear cut chance to double their lead in the first half.
The visitors found the back of the net to bring the game on level terms, after a mistake from Ntugasaze’s goalkeeper.
Both teams headed to the dressing room level at the break, with Ntugasaze having the lion share of the game.
Second half started heavily for the away side, though they failed to get the best moments to lead the game and the chance rather fell to the home side as Jerieko once again struck home to restore the lead and add his tally of goals for the season.
The home side managed to thwart off attempts by the visitors to level matters again, solidifying their defense and keeping their momentum knowing what lies ahead of them.
At the final whistle, the home team erupted in joy, as they made history and earned promotion to their maiden Uganda Premier League season and shall be competing in top tier football next season.
