
Paidha Black Angels continues their chase for Uganda Premier League with an inch perfect win, courtesy of a second half comeback against Young Elephants Academy.
The tense match saw the visitors took the lead towards the half hour mark, and headed in the break ahead of the home team, leaving home fans lamenting and shocked.
Despite the visitors showing glimpse of brightness in the early minutes of the match, their early lead was a no match for the Blacks who rallied up so well to defend their fortress, scoring thrice in the second half, though one was later ruled as offside.
Substitute Marco Simbwa became the ultimate game changer, pulling the trigger in the early minutes of second half to restore Parity and bring the home crowd to life before danger man Opar Jacob “Aguero” tapped home the second within a few minutes from the equalizer.
Another substitute, Ismail Siraji had his name on the scoresheet but was unfortunately waved offside by the lines man, to deny the home team their 3rd of the evening.
The result means The Blacks have held on to their Unbeaten run at the fortress for 3 consecutive seasons now, last recording a loss in the season 2022 - 2023 season.
The Blacks remain 5th on the log, a point below 4th placed Kataka Fc, and still keeping up with the pursuit of UPL promotion with the fight going to the last match day as they pay homage to arch greater Nebbi rivals, Nebbi central who are in dire need of 3 points to survive relegation.
