The past few days have been action packed in the FUFA Big League as all three West Nile clubs were in action; with a total of four fixtures played all together.
Paidha Black Angels played the most, with matches on Thursday and later Sunday where's Nebbi Central and Onduparaka played a match each on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The Blacks hosted Mbale City's Kataka FC at Bar Okoro and managed to pick up the three points after a 2-1 result on Thursday. Opar Jacob's first minute strike and Yoacel Raymond's in the tenth put Paidha Black Angels in an early pole position before Kataka pulling one back in the thirty-fourth minute.

The visiting Kataka FC slopped two days later to take on neighbors Nebbi Central; A fixture they also lost by a goal to zero. David Ocircan's strike was all The Royals needed to reclaim their victory path having lost 4-1 prior, away to Ntungasaze with also Ocircan scoring their consolation at the new Kira Road Police Arena.

With most of the Matchday 17 fixtures played on Sunday, Onduparaka FC hosted contenders Ntungasaze FC at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua City. The relegation threatened Onduparaka put up a decent fight, holding them to a 1-all draw, with talisman Ade Brian netting a twentieth minute lead before the visitors levelling matters through Nsimbe Jibril in the sixty-seventh minute. However, home fans protested the equalizer with the game paused for a few minutes (about five) in order to calm the situation.
Paidha Black Angels on the other hand had an impressive evening outing; shocking Blacks Power with a 2-nil loss at the latter's fortress in Lira City. Early strikes from mid season transfer signings Benjamin Opakrwoth and Brian Majwega in the sixth and fifteenth minutes were all The Blacks needed to 'deforestate' Power at Ebenezer University Ground.

With no single loss from the West Nile clubs this match week, there have been significant changes on the FUFA Big League table standings.
Paidha Black Angels now move jointly tied at the top on 29 points with Ntungasaze, Kigezi Homeboyz and Blacks Power; all split on Head to Head, as Nebbi Central moved a position higher; now placed tenth. Onduparaka's draw however pushed the club a step lower; moving to the fourteenth position.

In their next fixtures, all the three clubs will travel away; Paidha Black Angels visit bottom placed Catda FC at Bugolobi Coffee Grounds in Kampala, Onduparaka FC play Kataka FC at the Mbale City Stadium while Nebbi Central FC take on Kiyinda Boys at Betherm City Play Ground in Gayaza, Wakiso.
