Confirmed: Ntugasaze Launches Hundred Million Partnership with Betika

Ntugasaze FC has announced a major boost from betting firm Betika Uganda ahead of its maiden Uganda Premier League campaign.

At a tune of UGX 100 million, the partnership unveiled on Wednesday at Kira Road Police Grounds, the club's home venue for the 2026/27 season with the newly promoted side will run for a season.

Designed to support Ntugasaze FC as it makes its historic top-flight debut, Betika says the funding will go toward player recognition, fan engagement, digital content creation and improved matchday experiences for supporters.

Ntugasaze FC's rise has been rapid. Founded in 2018, the club earned its promotion to the Uganda Premier League after finishing second in the 2025/26 FUFA Big League.

Speaking on the partnership, Betika Uganda Marketing Lead Desire Akanduhura praised Ntugasaze's journey saying it selected the club because of that growth, its ambitious leadership and its strong ties to the local community.

"Ntugasaze is a young and ambitious club whose journey reflects what determination, good leadership and consistency can achieve," he said said.

"Our partnership goes beyond brand visibility, we want to contribute meaningfully to the club's long-term growth while creating memorable experiences for players and supporters alike."

Among the standout features of the deal is the introduction of a UGX 150,000 Player of the Match Award, which will reward standout individual performances after every league fixture this season.

Ntugasaze FC Chief Executive Officer Ogwang Bob Brian welcomed the partnership, calling the club's promotion to the top flight the product of years of hard work and belief.

"Reaching the Uganda Premier League is the result of years of hard work, belief and commitment from everyone who has been part of Ntugasaze FC's journey," he said.

"Betika has recognized not only what we have achieved, but also where we are headed. Their support comes at a defining moment for the club as we begin our first season in Uganda's top flight, and we look forward to building this journey together."

The agreement forms part of Betika Uganda's wider investment in the country's sporting ecosystem, with the brand backing initiatives that nurture talent, strengthen clubs, and deepen ties between teams and their communities.

As The Brewers prepare for their debut Uganda Premier League season, the message from both partners is clear: a new chapter begins.
