Paidha Black Angels boasted a 2:0 win at the fortress Bar’Okoro stadium against 10 men Kigezi Home Boys side.
The action packed match started with high tempo before the half hour mark as both sides had open chances but failed to convert any.
As the game progressed, kigezi’s Bashamu Mugwa was given marching orders for unsporting behaviour after he slapped PBA’s Brian Majwega.
The match headed into half time Barren as the visitors held onto pressure for the remainder of first half though being a man down and the home side pressing them.
The Blacks came back for the second half, all hungry as they possessed and created many chances, clearly taking advantage of their numerical power to outweigh the visitors.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 65th minute as Opar Jacob slotted home the first goal and Obedmoth David added the second goal 8 minutes later.
The blacks dominated second half, pressing hard for more goals but the visitors held tight their nerves till the full time whistle.
The win sees the blacks regain the promotional slot with 40points, same as third placed Ntugasaze Fc and two points ahead of fifth placed kataka Fc.
kigezi home boys will now turn their focus to Arua City as they face Onduparaka Fc on sunday at Green light stadium.
