It is a cheerful Saturday evening in Yumbe today as hometown topflight outfit Calvary FC have picked up their first win in the league this evening.
A first StarTimes Uganda Premier League win on Matchday 22 could be the turning point from draws and a lot of painful evenings that the club has experienced in their debut season should the club retain this momentum.
Lawrence Olaboro scored twice to help Calvary overcome Buhimba United Saints 2-0 at home. Getting the party started as early as the 8th minute Olaboro was not done either. Just before the break on 41 minutes he struck again to double the advantage.
Sitting bottom of the table with just four points from fifteen matches and without a single win to their name prior to this evening the victory could be a big motivation for Calvary FC who remain entangled in a relegation battle.
