Onduparaka FC have successfully secured their place in the FUFA Big League for the 2026/27 season after battling to a hard-fought goalless draw against newly crowned champions Blacks Power FC on the final day of the campaign.
With their fate hanging in the balance, the Caterpillars entered the decisive fixture knowing that every minute mattered. Despite facing one of the league's strongest sides, Onduparaka displayed resilience, discipline, and determination to earn the crucial point needed to stay afloat.

Their survival hopes received a further boost from Nebbi, where rivals Nebbi Central FC suffered a 1-0 defeat to Paidha Black Angels. The result confirmed Nebbi Central's relegation and ensured Onduparaka's place in the second tier for another season.
The final whistle at Ababet Greenlight Stadium was met with relief and celebration from players, technical staff, and supporters who have stood by the club throughout a challenging campaign.
