From the Blacks to the Brewers: Opar Jacob Completes Ntungasaze Switch

Ntungasaze FC have unveiled former Paidha Black Angels FC forward Opar Jacob on a two-year deal, adding another attacking option to their squad ahead of the new Uganda Premier League season.

Opar, who scored six goals in 21 appearances for Paidha Black Angels in the FUFA Big League last season, becomes a Brewer until 2028.

The move comes after weeks of speculation surrounding the forward’s future, with his anticipated departure reportedly not sitting well with a section of Paidha Black Angels supporters.

Opar became a free agent following the expiration of his contract with the Blacks and has now found a new home at Kira Road Police Arena, where he will begin a new chapter of his career.

Ntungasaze officially confirmed the signing on their platforms, welcoming the forward to the club:

“Ntugasaze FC is delighted to announce the signing of Opar Jacob from Paidha Black Angels on a two-year deal. Welcome to The Brewers, Jacob! Let’s make history together in the Uganda Premier League.”

The arrival of Opar adds further depth to a Ntungasaze side that also has Dudu Bosco among its coaching team as the Brewers prepare for life in Uganda’s top flight.

For Opar, the challenge is now clear: turn his goal scoring pedigree into Premier League impact and help Ntungasaze make their mark among Uganda’s elite.
